How we research gear

AWD Camper does not run physical or laboratory product tests. We verify manufacturer specifications and current prices, compare them against competing products, and synthesize recurring owner experience from long-running forums and retailer reviews. Product pages, manuals and dated vendor checks are the primary sources for factual claims.

Every product we recommend lists at least one drawback. If a category has no clear winner we say that too, rather than manufacturing a ranking.
